FM125586UE and FP59738UE (Ready to be picked up at the machine shop.) These engines are performance builds. I began work on these engines on 6-3-2024. They are being machined and balanced. The following applies to both engines: It will have oversized flat top pistons, the head will be shaved down to 2.985" to achieve 9.5:1 compression and it has a 270 duration cam. This is an MG Midget/Triumph Spitfire 1500 that I picked up as a core replacement for an engine I sold. The rotating assembly will be balanced and the pistons and rods will be weight balanced. It will have new bearings, including cam bearings and tappets. It will have a new rocker shaft, double springs, valve guides, double timing chain and sprockets. I am having the machine shop grind the intake seats to receive new 1.438" intake valves. The exhaust valves and valve seats will be ground. The center main oil gallery has been drilled out to 5/16" to accommodate better oil flow to the #2 and #3 rod bearings. The diametric clearance on the thrust washers will be .003-.005" of end float to resolve the thrust washer issue. It will be sealed up with all new gaskets and seals. The covers have been powder-coated red and the block is painted black like the picture. I will run this engine on my test run stand and will make a completion video. You can view completion videos on engines I have rebuilt here. If you are interested in purchasing an engine like this one, contact me here.

KF2417HE (In progress waiting to be built at JMAC Engine Shop) It will be FOR SALE when complete. This is a Triumph GT6 MK 3 engine. My plan is to add a little compression and a 275 duration cam. I began work on this engine on 4-5-2024. This engine was in remarkable shape considering it had been sitting for about 20 years. I picked it up as a spare core. It will have oversized flat top pistons, the head will be shaved to achieve 9.5:1 compression. The rotating assembly will be balanced. It will have all new bearings, including cam bearings and tappets. It will have a new rocker shaft, springs, valve guides, double timing chain and sprockets. The valves and valve seats will be ground. The diametric clearance on the thrust washers is .003-.005" of end float to prevent any thrust washer issue. It will be sealed up with all new gaskets and seals. The covers will be powder-coated red and the block will be painted black like the picture with one exception; it came with a chrome valve cover. I will run this engine on my test run stand to check oil pressure and for oil leaks. I will check the compression and make a completion video like this one, click here. High Performance Built Engines (See What's New?)
FM120701UE (Completed) Pending sale (Chris) This engine will be a high performance build. I began work on this engine on 05-11-2023. It came back from the machine awaiting the build process. When I started to build this engine I found the block had been severely decked in race prep. It will have .020 over TR6 flat top pistons, the head is being shaved down to achieve 10.2:1 compression and it will have a 275 duration cam. This is a Triumph Spitfire 1500 that I bought as a bare block and parts. It will also fit an MG Midget. I am lightening the engine by using Maxpeeding rods and an aluminum flywheel. The rotating assembly will be balanced. It will have all new bearings, including cam bearings and tappets. It will have a new rocker shaft, high lift double springs, valve guides, double timing chain and sprockets. The intake valve seats will be ground to receive 1.438" valves. The covers are powder-coated red and the block will be painted black like the picture. I will run this engine on my test run stand to check oil pressure and oil leaks. I will check compression numbers after initial run up I will make a completion video like this one, click here. If you need an engine, Contact me for prices and availability.
